Progress Updates and Interior Views

We quit updating the blog when we began having serious troubles with the subcontractors. We had to fire the interior painters and finish the work ourselves. We had to reject the custom kitchen cabinets, get commercial replacements from a big-box chain, and install them ourselves. There were a couple of other things and we just got busy working on the house, getting Mom moved in, and then trying to get her settled. There's still lots to do, but it's still a splendid space.

Slow but steady progress since April 1st... but it's progress.

Semi-slow progress this past week with mainly tile and interior trim work. Sheetrockers need to return to clear their punch-list; water line and septic may happen this coming week.
